Can Massage Gun help Lose Weight?
Are you tired of sweating for so long in the gym, trying out so many diets each year that leave you hungry and not slim?
What if you could break down fat cells without either? Thus, the question arises: Can massage Gun help lose weight or lose belly fat??
And the indirect answer is yes.
Why indirectly?
In a 2015 study conducted by Melinda M. Manore, many athletes and active individuals who want to lose weight fall into one of these two categories.
- People who are obese,
- People who participate in sports that are weight-sensitive, weight-classed, or aesthetically judged. Many of these athletes participate in endurance sports, such as wrestlers, boxers, gymnasts, and figure skaters.
In the second category, weight loss affects performance. The fact that active individuals search for alternatives to traditional weight loss methods (e.g. gym use, eating right, and taking supplements) makes sense.
Basically, a calorie deficit is a primary way to lose weight. No shortcuts. Choosing less processed foods and reducing your consumption of sugary drinks is a wise choice like soda and specialty coffee drinks.
Where does the massage gun come in all these?
In the beginning, you might feel sore from engaging in physical activities. With a massage gun, you can target your sore area and relieve muscle knots and tightness.
By doing so, the lymph is free to move. Metabolic health is improved by improved lymphatics. In addition, your muscles will burn more calories when your metabolic rate increases.
Additionally, massage guns help you recover faster and gain more endurance. Your training regimen and active lifestyle will be boosted by this.
So a massage gun helps you to do more intense training and regularly you can suppress your limits. Your diet should be calorie-controlled and you should be physically active each day in order to be successful.
How massage can help weight loss
It is believed that massage guns improve lymphatic circulation, which in turn helps to flush out toxins, lactic acid, and other waste from the body. Therefore, the body will work more efficiently, your metabolism will increase and as a result, you will be able to burn fat more effectively.
Studies have also shown that mobilizing the lymphatic system combats obesity.
Another thought is that a massage gun will prevent muscle soreness and potential injuries after a workout. Maintaining your intensity levels will help you lose weight faster. That too makes sense.
If you have recently lost body fat in an area of your body, massage therapy or percussion massage guns can help stimulate that area. After a workout, the soft tissue stiffens and loses its flexibility. Massage boosts blood circulation and encourages the growth of old dead cells, eliminating the aging dead cells.
Cаn a massage gun break dоwn fat?
Sorry, no massage gun or Vibrational device can’t break down fat cells. The massage cannot break up fat deposits, but if you are in a fat-burning state, you can squash fat cells.
When you use a massage gun on any other part of your body with stubborn fat, your body will break them down while your body is breaking them down.
Stimulate that area for better circulation. It is true that fat cannot be lost without the body breaking it down, but you can certainly help the body by stimulating circulation in these areas where you are trying to lose fat.
Can I Use A Massage Gun On My Belly?
A great percussion massage using a low invasive technique will perform it on the abdominal area. But you have to know how to use it properly. When it comes to massage guns I will never recommend you to use them.
Most Massage therapists recommend against using a massage gun directly on your belly. On asking this question to Massage therapist Eric Roy, who runs a home massage parlor in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota he replied –
“I will never recommend that. Massage guns use the force of percussive therapy to manipulate your body’s soft tissue, the optimal tool for a sore muscle during a workout recovery.”
What would make you use a massage gun on your stomach? People tend to experience tension in their trapezius muscles, so they massage it most often. Massage guns do not help if you are experiencing stomach pain or indigestion. Too much vibration occurs. This is meant to relieve tension.
There is a possibility (depending on how you use it) that you could damage organs or tissues, but I know that it won’t help you at all.
This is another one of those cases where I think this is limited. I can’t ask the OP for clarification or open a dialog. We have to guess the intention of the question.
